Flash Website

Well this is the final project! My inspiration from this project came from watching the new Star Trek movie on Bluray at my parents house. It took me back to when I was younger and would watch Star Trek with my dad every week. As I did some research on the ships I definitely could feel my inner nerd coming out. Yes everyone, I am a TREKKY! Haha. Anyway, this project was pretty stressful because I got married and went on my honeymoon right in the middle of it all, so I had missed much of the how-to material that Dave showed us. Anyway, I think it turned out pretty good, despite it all. So here it is, my first interactive flash website!

Animated Typography Project

This project really tested me. I have never really gotten into Flash before, so I was pretty intimidated by it. After starting this project I was able to get the hang of it, and then it turned into a really fun project. I am by no means amazing at Flash... but I at least feel more comfortable with it. I chose this scene from the Office because it is my favorite TV show, and I love the back and forth conversations between Jim and Dwight. Enjoy!

HTML Site Final

Here is the finished 4Runner site! It's a pretty simple, clean-cut site, but hopefully it's easy to use and find information. I was really impressed by what some of the other students did for their websites and mine is definitely not as flashy as some... but that was not the intention with my site. HTML Website - Digital Comps

The HTML website I am working on is designed to be a "one-stop" place for 3rd Generation 4Runner owners to find information on their trucks, whether it be model changes, how to properly maintain their vehicle, or even how to modify it. I'm trying to keep it very simple and easy to navigate (for all those gearheads who like to enjoy a beer while working on their truck).

The First One

I never thought I'd make a blog, but alas, I am now forced to do so... My class, Graphic Interface Design, requires me to have one. So I am forced to join my now fellow human beings known as "bloggers." Stay tuned!!!
